Dear Pat will be kept in our family memory for being a lifelong, wonderful friend to mum Lucy. They met aged 11 at school in Chelsea and grew up in the blitz. There were happy times together with husbands Ted and Fred. Moving farther apart they still kept in touch, latterly twice a week or more by phone, laughing, consoling, encouraging and and putting the world to rights. Wonderful friends. all now sadly missed but happy memories live on.
